Mumbai Indians (MI) will be taking on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 29th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024). The MI vs CSK match is being played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
After starting their season with three straight defeats, MI have bounced back by registering thumping wins in their last two games. They opened their account with a 29-run win over Delhi Capitals after posting a mammoth total of 234 before thrashing Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their last game.
After RCB posted a competitive total of 196, MI chased down the target in less than 16 overs by losing just three wickets. MI’s confidence will be sky-high after the two wins at home and they will be eyeing a hat-trick of wins tonight.
CSK, on the other hand, will be eyeing their first away win of IPL 2024 tonight. The five-time champions have won three of their first five games so far in the competition. While they have won all three games at home, they ended up on the losing side in both the away games.

It (pitch) looks better than the last game, expecting a lot of runs. Need to stick to the basics. Winning is very important to get the momentum. We were able to win two games convincingly. That’s the beauty about IPL, everyone has to contribute. Your team will be able to achieve goals eventually. The dew started coming post 10 overs. It gets heavier in the evening. Same team.”
