Rinku Singh Ignores Fazalhaq Farooqi Like a Boss, Even After Being Shoved By The Afghan Pacer

Rinku Singh has continued to win the hearts of the fans with his displays on the cricket field in recent months. The highly-rated batsman has not looked back since enjoying a stunning campaign in IPL 2023.

Playing for Kolkata Knight Riders, he finished the competition as his team’s highest run-scorer. He scored 474 runs to enjoy a breakthrough season. The impressive campaign paved the way for his debut in international cricket and the southpaw has grabbed the opportunity with both hands. He has already made his debut for Team India in T20Is and ODIs.

Rinku Singh has played 2 ODIs and 14 T20Is so far. In T20Is, he has scored 287 runs at a stunning average of 71.75 and a strike-rate of 176. He is currently plying his trade in the ongoing three-match T20I series against Afghanistan and is looking destined to be a part of India’s squad for this year’s T20 World Cup in the Caribbeans and the USA.

Rinku Singh ignores Fazalhaq Farooqi:

Rinku Singh has won over fans not only with his batting but also with his mannerisms. The fans love his honest and straightforward answers in interviews. And recently, the fans also praised him for the way he handled himself during the second T20I against Afghanistan in Indore.

The incident took place in the 16th over of India’s innings when Rinku Singh was standing at the non-striker’s end and Fazalhaq Farooqi was bowling to Shivam Dube. After Dube hit the ball towards mid-off, he set off for a single before changing his mind. Rinku had also left his crease for the run before returning.

As Rinku was making his way to the crease, Farooqi came in his way. The Indian batsman pushed the bowler slightly to get back inside the crease, prompting Farooqi to retaliate with a shove to his back. Undeterred by the altercation, Rinku calmly walked to the other side of the stumps. Farooqi was not impressed by Rinku’s attitude and wanted to address the issue with him but the Indian batsman showed no interest in engaging with him.
