IPL 2024: Sakshi Dhoni welcomes back Rishabh; takes jibe at MSD and CSK’s loss

Sakshi Dhoni, the better half of India’s all-time favourite skipper, MS Dhoni, took to Instagram to share a touching story about Rishabh Pant. Pant recently made his comeback in the Indian Premier League (IPL) after nearly escaping death. Her kind gesture is being praised by both Dhoni and Pant’s fans.

In Sunday’s match, when Chennai Super Kings (CSK) started to falter during their chase of 191, losing wickets in the middle overs, the former CSK came to the field to create a soul-stirring environment among the fans. CSK supporters also knew that CSK’s victory was almost impossible at that stage.

Sakshi’s Instagram story trends on ‘X’

Though mostly staying away from the limelight, Sakshi became the talk of the town after her Instagram story. In her post, she uploaded a picture of MSD taking the award of ‘Electric Striker of the Match’ for his stunning knock of 37 not out off 16 balls.

In her story, Sakshi wrote, “First of all, Welcome back, Rishabh Pant.” She also humorously took a jibe at Mahi by saying, “Didn’t realize that we lost the game (with a laughing emoji).”
