Faf du Plessis leaves Pat Cummins stunned by revealing about Javagal Srinath toss controversy during MI vs RCB game

An interaction between Faf du Plessis and Pat Cummins has been raising a number of eyebrows and has also made many point fingers at the fairness of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

While the IPL is undoubtedly the most popular and richest cricket league in the world, time and again it has also landed in big controversies. Over the years, the tournament has also been linked with match-fixing allegations and it could land in a similar situation once again due to the conversation between Faf du Plessis and Pat Cummins.

A video of the same interaction has been going viral on social media. The interaction took place when both players came out for a toss for the game between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Sunrisers Hyderabad. While Faf du Plessis is leading RCB, Pat Cummins is in charge of SRH for the ongoing IPL 2024.

Before the toss, Faf du Plessis could be seen having an animated chat with Pat Cummins. As per the claims, the RCB skipper was telling his SRH counterpart about the toss controversy that took place during the game between RCB and MI last week.

Hardik Pandya threw the coin behind his back before match referee Javagal Srinath picked up the coin and announced the winner without showing the captains the outcome of the toss.  While Faf du Plessis’ words were not clear, his gestures made it clear that he was indeed telling Pat Cummins about the toss before the game against MI. Pat Cummins looks stunned as his RCB counterpart narrated the whole incident.
