The 26-year-old Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) pacer Vaibhav Arora rattled the stumps of the star Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Shivam Dube in the 22nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Monday, April 8.
Since joining the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Shivam Dube has completely transformed himself as a batsman and he has played absolutely sensational innings for the franchise regularly.
His performance for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were so good that the BCCI selectors gave him India recall and he is also in the scheme of things for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in June in the West Indies and USA. In the match against KKR, Shivam Dube once again batted brilliantly and smashed 28 runs off 18 balls. His innings was studded with 1 four and 3 sixes and he played a vital hand in CSK’s 7-wicket win over the dominant Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
In the match, Shivam Dube decided to attack pacer Vaibhav Arora and smashed him for a huge six on the 4th ball of the 17th over. However, the pacer quickly took his revenge by rattling his stumps on the next delivery with a straight ball. After picking the wicket, the pacer was pumped up and he reacted aggressively, but the batter didn’t pay any attention to it and he walked back to the hut in disappointment.
