Punjab Kings, the IPL franchise unveiled their new jersey ahead of IPL 2024 on March 16. The franchise finished eighth on the points table winning six games and losing eight games.
The jersey was launched amidst the presence of co-owner Preity Zinta and Satish Menon the CEO of the franchise. Over the years, Punjab kings have tried every possible way to win the title but have failed. Arguably, they have been the most underachieving side in the tournament. They have played the final only once and have finished sixth or below in most of the seasons.

She further said that the board asked them to give up their jersey as the ball matched the complexion of their jersey back then.

The new red jersey has been made according to international standards. The fabric for the new jersey has been imported from Vietnam and the manufacturing of the same has been done in India by PlayR.
It is 20 percent lighter and 30 percent more stretchable and has been made using anti-sweat, anti-odor, anti-bacterial, and anti-pilling technologies. The jersey is further protected from UV rays and hence the color will not fade away.
