India batter Virat Kohli has been electric on the field in the ongoing second T20I against Afghanistan. The Holkar Stadium in Indore is host to the virtual series decider between the teams. The hosts won the toss and opted to field first and have done a decent job with the ball.

During the third ball of the 9th over, Shivam Dube bowled a fullish delivery to which Gulbadin Naib lofted it flat towards long-on. Virat Kohli ran in dived forward and got both hands while being in the air but the ball didn’t stick.

Gulbadin Naib made most of the effort as he slammed a sensational half-century and made sure that he kept his team in the hunt. The batter smashed Indian bowlers all over the park and put them under pressure in Indore, which is hosting a series decider.
Gulbadin Naib ended with the knock of 57 runs off 35 balls. He batted with a strike rate of over 162 and slammed 5 fours and 4 sixes in his innings. The batter made sure that his side ended up with a fighting total on the board.
After he got out, Najibullah Zadran (23), Karim Janat (20), and Mujeeb ur Rahman (21) played vital cameos in the end that powered Afghanistan to a total of 172 runs. For India, Arshdeep Singh picked three wickets whereas Ravi Bishnoi and Axar Patel picked two scalps. The series between the teams is in favor of India as they won the first game by 6 wickets in Punjab. They would be hoping to seal the series in the game and then give opportunities to youngsters in the next game.
